Uganda rugby Cranes dropped by seven places in the latest World Rugby Rankings released on Monday 27th August 2018.
The Cranes were previously ranked 35th but after their bad performance in the month August which saw them lose 18-38 at home to Zimbabwe in the Africa Rugby Gold Cup, the Cranes dropped to 42nd.
Uganda played three games during the month of August registering wins over Tunisia (47-12), Morocco (47-29) and a loss to Zimbabwe (18-38).
Neighbours Kenya remain unmoved in 28th position while Gold Cup winners Namibia remained 22nd after winning two games in August where they beat Zimbabwe (58-28) and Kenya (53-28).
Zimbabwe and Tunisia moved a place down each, with Zimbabwe falling from 37th to 38th while Tunisia fell from 40th to 41st.
Morocco are the only team that participated in the Africa Rugby Gold Cup that moved forward in the rankings despite managing just a 23-23 draw in the competition, after gaining one place from 48th to 47th.
Else where South Africa dropped a place down, moving from 6th to 7th.
