10 people were yesterday ordained and preisted to the South Ankole Anglican diocese with a call to have proper morals and key development messages to Christians that can inspire them to love God and be examples to the faith.
The ten include 7 who were made priests from ordained deacons while 3 were made church deacons. They include Robert Asiimwe, Ruth Kiconco, Edmund Mwesigye, Jonathan Ariho, Emmanuel Murinzi, Neria Agaba And Didas Niwamanya as preisted reverends and Eliab Muriisa, Nelson Muhangi and Ezra Timuzigu as deacons.
Ordaining the priests, the diocese Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe asked them to behave properly in their posting. Bishop Ahimbisibwe asked Christians to embrace the spirit of hard work and savings so as to face the key challenges of poverty and other limitations. He asked church leaders to take key development messages.
The diocesan secretary Rev. Can Yoramu Ntoroine said the new priests have been posted to various positions where they will serve and help Christians to get nearer to God.
