Mbarara regional referral hospital has today received the Toyota Costa as one way of carrying outreach supervision in lower facilities.
Speaking to our reporter during the handing over of 380m Toyota Costa to the driver Celestine Barigye the direct Mbarara regional referral hospital says that this costa will help in supervision of health centre fours in ten districts of Ankole region which have occasionally been meeting challenges in different facilities in monitoring the facilities.
He revealed that the bus will be carrying 30 people and it has been procured at 380m from capital development fund in the Uganda government.
According to Barigye, this Costa will make the work easy for doctors to travel to lower hospitals to meet patients.
According to Barigye the money was received from government and he is optimistic that this will reduce on the referral of patients since some of them will be met at their hospitals for treatment.
