Mbarara: Government blamed for poor health services in Rwampara


Ministry of Health have been urged to improve on health sector in health units inform of drugs  that cure deadly diseases to save the lives of Ugandan.

While speaking on the health free Camp organized by Archdiocese of Mbarara Development Association (AMDA) at Rushanje Girls S.S.S in Rushanje Parish, Bugamba Sub-county, Rwampara County, Mbarara district ovee the weekned, Dr. Nored Mugisha from Uganda Cancer Institute said that many people find it difficult to access health services in health units which have left people’s lives at stake.

The Member of Parliament Rwampara County Charles Ngabirano said government lacks strong Machines and skilled Medical personnel in health facilities to cure diseases like Cancer, Pressure Malaria among others.

However,  the Member of Parliament Buhweju Constituency Mwijukye Francis has put blame on leadership in Rwampara County for failure to motivate the doctors and prioritizing health sector which has resulted into congestion in hospitals.

Over 3000 patients participated in the health camp and these accessed free services.
