Kenya Cup

KCB v Kabras Sugar

KCB Sports Club-Ruaraka, Nairobi

Kickoff 4:00PM

Kabras Sugar coach Charles Cardovillis has made five changes in the side to face KCB during the 10th round of the Kenya Cup on Saturday at KCB Sports Club as Kabras hunt for their first ever Kenya Cup win away to the Bankers.

Uganda Rugby Cranes stars Asuman Mugerwa and Philip Wokorach will feature from the start while Pius Ogena and Ivan Kirabo will get playing time off the bench as Kabras look to close the gap between them and the top two teams, Home Boys and KCB respectively.

From the side that beat Kisii RFC two weeks ago, Stephen Ochieng and Geoffrey Shitambasi make way for Ugandan Asuman Mugerwa and Coleman at tight head and hooker.

Hillary Odhiambo moves from eight to lock and will pair Andrew Chogo as George Nyambua, Charlton Mokua and Max Adaka complete the back row.

Philip Wokorach will start at fullback with Andrew Gathua joining Pius Ogena, Ivan Kirabo, Messo Okello and Elphaz Okello on the bench.

The Bankers are unbeaten this season and should be well aware that victory against Kabras will guarantee them a top two finish with a game of the regular season to spare.

KCB is a well coached side, but the focus over the past two weeks has been more about our game, we shall take it a game at a time and tackle any challenge that is presented to us. Said Kabras Sugar Coch  Charles Cardovillis.

A win for Kabras will see them reduce the gap between them and  second place Homeboyz to one point but will remain six adrift of table toppers KCB.
