Kashari South Mp Cautions Government Schools On Standards

Government schools have been cautioned to acquire all the necessary requirements before they face closure.
The warning was yesterday sounded by Nathan Twesigye Itungo, the Kashari South MP while meeting all government head teachers, school management committees, school foundation bodies and parent- teachers committees from Kashari South country at All saint church Bwizibwera in Rwanyamahembe sub-county Mbarara district.
He said the closure of schools without the necessary requirements as directed by the ministry will not only affect private schools but also the government ones.
The Mbarara District Education Officer, Gabriel Ahimbisibwe cited some of the problems that are hindering the education system in the district as indiscipline among the head teachers and teachers, drop out of students, defilement, teachers and leaner’s absenteeism among others.
The Kashari South MP promised to forward all the raised concerns to the responsible authorities for a way forward
