Nyamityobora FC Head Coach James Odoch returned from his compassionate leave to over see the first team training on Monday morning at Ntare Grounds in Mbarara.
Odoch had been away to Agago district after the loss of his brother where he had spent a week.
In his absence, Assistant coach Juma Sekyiziyivu and Technical Director Antonio Flores over saw the on field activities of the the first team where the conducted double training sessions for a week and played a preseason build up match which saw the team register a 2-0 win over Mbarara based side Bishop Stuart University on Friday.
There were no absentees from the morning training session as all the players were available under the guidance of their returning head coach plus the two captain Henry Kamara and Alex Komakech.
Assistant Coach Juma Ssekiziyivu Technical Director Flores Antonio will join the evening session having returned from Kampala for the Uganda Cranes match against Tanzania.
James Odoch who joined the club in January 2018, helped Nyamityobora FC earn promotion to the Uganda Premier League after finishing top of the Rwenzori Group.
The Banyakare will continue to intensify their preparations for life in the Uganda Premier League with double training sessions everyday as they wait for the 2018-19 season fixtures to be released.
They will host their home games from Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara and will continue to hold all their training sessions from Ntare Grounds just outside the main stadium.
The team has played a number of preseason games which saw them win against Kirinya Jinja SSS 1-0 in the Pilsner Super Eight before being knocked out by 2016-17 league champions KCCA FC 4-0 in the semi finals.
The Banyakare have since bounced back to draw 1-1 against Kabale Sharp FC and win 2-0 against Bishop Stuart University Mbarara.
