As divisions over boundary between Uganda and Tanzania in Isingiro district take toll, Youths in Isingiro district have been cautioned against involvement in the boundary themselves in the land dispute.
The boundary dispute is attributed to some government officials and Tanzania forces who are allegedly conniving to take over people’s land by placing land marks which surveyors call control towers.
Abert Nangumya, the chairperson NRM concerned youth –a local youth organization that advocates for NRM in greater Mbarara says that there is a group of people recruiting youth especially in Isingiro district to take part in the Uganda –Tanzania border land saga in Isingiro district.
He blames among other leaders, the district LCV Chairman, Jeremiah Kamurari for being behind this move.
Nahamya reveals that government is planning to shift part of Uganda-Tanzania boarder from Tanzania to Uganda which most people allege has been sold to Tanzania.
