Mbarara regional referral hospital is hosting a contingent of students from Denmark for training under the program of trimedics.
Under the program, students are sent overseas to acquire different professional knowledge and compare, while learning a wide range f skills.
According Barigye Celestine the hospital director the students will undergo an observative kind of training for a month which he says will encourage them join medical professions the likes of doctors nurses midwives and the like.
While talking to Mbarara Sun reporter today at Mbarara hospital, Dr Barigye stressed however much Europe has got many hospitals than Africa European students have limited opportunities of getting the feel of what exactly happens in hospitals as well as knowing how patients are cared for.
This forced them to come with a program to always bring their students to uganda so as to inspire them take up medical professions. He also noted that if Uganda had the same opportunity to children ,we would have more doctors.
